Pixelmator active tool

This is how Pixelmator (a brand new image editing program for the Mac) shows which tool in your toolbar is active. I haven't used it yet, but it seems that by enlarging the lasso like that it would be easier to accidentally click on it by mistake when you are trying to select a neighboring tool. And I've never once had an issue where I've had trouble knowing what tool is selected using the standard icon highlight/border technique Photoshop uses.
