Earlier today I checked to see if my flight was going to be on time at delta.com. I didn't remember the flight number so I used the "From" and "To" fields to find it. When I came back to the page a few hours later, the form was prepopulated with the correct flight number that had been saved to a cookie the last time I searched. It was a really pleasant surprise.
