Screenshot privacy settings
September 22nd, 2007
Starting right this second each of your screenshots have privacy settings available to them. What does this mean? Today the privacy settings are pretty basic. If you make your screenshot public, everyone in the world can see it, tag it, comment on it, etc. This is the default setting and is probably the right choice 99% of the time. Sometimes however you will want to post screenshots of work that you’d rather not have everyone see (such as works in progress or your favorite search engine). You can make these screenshots private, in which case no one will ever see them except for you. You can define this setting when you add a new screenshot or on the individual screenshot page in the right hand sidebar.
In the very near future we will be releasing a “groups” feature, which will give you more fine-tuned privacy settings. Let us know if you have any questions or requests.
